Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to investigate personality traits and job values of (Sports General Management of Youth and Sports Ministery) Staff according to dependance levels to organization in Central Sports Management. 282 individuals working at Sports General Management participated voluntarily in study. Personal information form prepared by researcher was used as a data collection tool. Also ''Five Factor Personality Scale'' developed by John, Donahue and Kentle 1991, and adopted to Turkish by Alkan 2007, and ''Job Values Scale'' developed by Kaya 2010 and ''Organizational Dependence Scale'' developed by Allen and Meyer 1990 and adopted to Turkish by Yıldırım were used. Data obtained from the research were analysed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 22.0 programme. In the evaluation of data; number, percent, average, and standart deviation were used as descriptive statistical methods. While T-test in comparison of quantitative continuous data between two groups, Oneway (Anova) test in comparison of quantitative continuous data among groups more than two groups were used. Scheffe test was used as complement post-hoc analysis for determining the differences after Anova Test. Among the continuous variables of research; Pearson Correlation and hierarchical regression analysis were used. In the power of Cause and effect relation and change (R2) in determination coefficient were revealed of dependent variables on independent variables and in hierarchical regression analysis. Findings obtained were assessed between the range of 95% and 5% significance level. As a result; regression analysis for determining cause and effect relation among the general results of dependence to organization, autonomy, job environment, human affairs, the significance of job, emotional imbalance, opennes to development, compatibleness, responsibility, extroversion sub-dimensions, were found as statistically significant (f=14,730; p=0,000<0.05). In other words it was determined that personality traits and job values are significant factors in dependence to organization.
