Abstract (EN)
Within the scope of this research, the factors affecting teachers' subjective career success are examined. In this context, the effects of career renewal power and career resources on subjective career success were examined based on mixed method research. Combination design, which is a type of mixed method in which the quantitative and qualitative research processes are carried out simultaneously, was used in the research. In the quantitative part of the research, the role of career renewal power and career resources on subjective career success was examined with the structural equation model. In this context, the direct effects of career resources on subjective career success and the mediating role of career renewal power in this relationship were examined. In the qualitative part of the study, two different studies were carried out. In the first study, teachers' perceptions of subjective career success were examined and indicators of career success were obtained. In the second study, the career success stories of teachers were examined through the non-test technique developed within the scope of the research. As a result of the research, professional expertise, organizational career support and career commitment from career resources directly affect career success, while work pressure, learning, networking and career trust affect career success with the partial mediation of career renewal power. Social career support, career discovery, career clarity, ancillary skills and labor market knowledge affect career success as the full vehicle of career renewal power. In the qualitative findings of the study, unlike the quantitative findings, the factors affecting career success were determined as contributing to people, being happy, freedom and reaching goals.
