Evaulation of text activities in secondary school Turkish textbooks in terms of entrepreneurship skills

It is important to developing entrepreneurship skills which most important factors and use this skill to create economic opportunities in order to changing world conditions. All person in the community have the potential and ability to somehow become an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurial opportunities, especially in countries like Turkey, with its young population potential comes to take over. It is thought that the textbooks used in our country a role in gaining entrepreneurship skills. The aim of this research is to examine middle school Turkish textbooks text activities in terms of entrepreneurship skills. A total of "96" reading texts and "824" activities were analyzed from secondary school Turkish textbooks. In this research, the document analysis was used. It was analyzed that %15,29 of 824 activities examined including entrepreneurship skills. Some of these activities have more than one entrepreneurial sub-skill so a total of 224 skills were found in activities. While the textbook with the least sub-skill was 7th grade with 48 skills; the textbook with the most sub-skills became a 6th grade book with 64 skills. As a result of the research, it was determined the text activities of middle school Turkish textbooks included entrepreneurship skills and these activities were in accordance with the text and Turkish curriculum. However, it has been concluded that activities are not directly accordance with entrepreneurship skills due to they are not sufficient in terms of "production, idea, risk and innovation".
