Abstract (EN)
Due to the global COVID-19 outbreak, in the face of the extraordinary situation declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization, the 2019-2020 Academic Year Spring Semester was terminated and online education was initiated. This process brought about the transformation of the architectural planning and design education model, and measures and searches for summer internships began. In the study, a dynamic model based on online education is presented by defining internship education, with skills and achievements in relation to the bologna program. Thus, it is aimed to offer internship opportunities with the model called Architecture and Design Education Digital Internship (MİTEDİS) and to offer a solution proposal to increase efficiency and quality for student acquisition. Participant-oriented assessment approach was used in the analysis phase of the study, SWOT technique in the assessment phase, and auxiliary methods and techniques in the process phase. In evaluation process, academic mentors and students' skills and achievements within the scope of digital internship were determined with 3 online conferences, and 3 conferences held with the mentor group of the internship committee, the requirements for the evaluation process of the digital internship, the creation of the evaluation grid, and the task categories were revealed. In the findings section, MİTEDİS software is presented in the light of all analysis data. The MİTEDİS model, which combines the student, partners and internship commission on a single platform, has been tested with 39 Interior Architecture and Environmental Design students at Altınbaş University. In addition, the skills and achievements in the content of MİTEDİS and the use of MİTEDİS software evaluated with two SWOT studies. Thus, considering the competencies of the bologna program, a new internship setup based on skills and achievements was proposed.
