Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, acetone extract of aboveground parts of Plantago major plant phytochemically. In addition, the monoamine oxidase of the methanol extract of the plant Inhibition effect was determined on (MAO) A and B isoenzymes. Acetone and methanol extracts are carried out with TLC as a result of methanol extract, acetone secondary metabolites which were not found in the extract. Study of the plant acetone three compounds known from the extract by chromatographic methods; n-pentatriakontanol, ursolic acid and β-sitosterol 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside were purified. n-pentatriacontanol first isolated from Plantago major in this study. Obtained in inhibition studies According to the results of ICO values for MAO-A and MAO-B isoenzymes, respectively 2.1747 μg / mL (R2 = 0.8858) and 21.05103μg / mL (R2 = 0.8966). These results indicate that methanol extract of major leaves of P. neurodegenerative diseases is a potent MAO-A and MAO-B inhibitor that can be assessed in the treatment of has revealed.
