Abstract (EN)

In this work which is prepared within the context of art and city relation, we can say that the city is the product of a system which protects what exists in the past and connects it to the future by clip art each other, preserving what exists in the past and starting from the definitions of many social scientists in addition the sociological, economic, geographical and political definitions of thecity. At the next stage, the appearance of cities and their social development were examined and the relation between city and village, urbanization and culture was mentioned. If you look at the relation between city and picture; it was seen that painting art showed up as a symbol of prevailing dominance in the prehistoric era, and the themes such as hunting, war, death and love were processed in later periods. Religious influenced the sacred story and more ordering pictures were made. Along with the modern era, the artist began to make use of his imagination and make pictures about everyday life, and the city entered the painting in the first stage as a fund. With industrialization, the city dominated the art of painting as its main subject. In this context, some of the artists who were involved in the art of the city were included in their work. In the last part, attempts were made to interpret the thesis based on the theoretical perspective of the thesis.
