Abstract (EN)
Sema Kaygusuz, who is included in the 1990s in Turkish literatüre, has come to the fore with his works in the fore with his Works in the genre of the story, but has also managed to be on the agenda with his works in novels, theaters and experiments. Especially after the inflation environment seen in the story writing after 1990, it can be considered as one of the rare names that managed to be permanent. He showed this success in his stories in his novels, which he wrote after a change in his temporal perspective. His postmodern novels, which he created with his unique language, the techniques he used, and cultural motifs that exceeded Anatolian geography, made him special in his generation. In this thesis, Sema Kaygusuz's Works which are given to Turkısh novel, Falling Prayers in the Ground, A Place on Your Face, Laughter of the Barbarian are examined structurally and thematically in line with the possibilities of the art of the novel. In the study, the life and understanding of art were shed light in line with the statements made by the author in various media. In addition, the political, social and social events affecting the Turkish novel after 1980, the effects of new developments in the World novel on the Turkish novel and Sema Kaygusuz were determined.
