Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to determine the reaction conditions of the spiro-N,N'-diisopropylpropan-1,3-diamino-phosphazene derivative compound with hydroxypyridine (2-hydroxy, 3-hydroxy-, 4-hydroxypyridine) derivatives and to characterize the structures of the newly obtained pyridyloxy-substituted phosphazene derivatives. For this purpose, a monospirophosphazene derivative compound, used as a starting material, was first obtained from the reaction of hexachlorocyclotrifosfazatriene (N3P3Cl6) with N,N'-diisopropylpropan-1,3-diamine in dichloromethane. In the second stage, the obtained monospirophosphazene derivative compound was reacted with hydroxypyridine derivatives (2-hydroxy-, 3-hydroxy-, 4-hydroxypyridine) in acetone in the presence of Cs2CO3. At the end of these reactions, new pyridyloxy-substituted spirophosphazene derivative compounds were synthesized. The synthesized compounds were purified from the reaction mixtures using thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and column chromatography techniques. Elemental analysis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 31P NMR, and FT-IR spectroscopy techniques were used for the structural characterization of the newly synthesized spirophosphazene derivative compounds. The prepared pyridyloxy-substituted phosphazene derivatives were synthesized for the first time in this study. These types of compounds are polycentric coordination ligands. Complexes of these ligands can be prepared with various metals, and different application areas can be determined. Therefore, the obtained compounds are important compounds that will contribute to the literature. In addition, it is important that the reactions were carried out under normal atmospheric conditions without using an inert environment.
