Abstract (EN)

Sustainable economic growth and development is one of the most fundamental goals of all countries. Technology is one of the determinants of economic growth and has become more important over time. Especially with the transition from an agriculturally intensive economy to an industrially intensive production approach in the early 1900s, technology has become one of the fundamental determinants. The Fordist production method, which was implemented in the 1900s, has also given way to lean production systems that provide more competition and cost advantage over time. The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of lean production techniques on economic growth through a sample model. As a result of the sample model examination, it has been concluded that lean production systems cause companies to reduce costs, increase productivity and quality, as well as reduce waste. It has been concluded that the advantages offered by lean production systems to the company will contribute positively to economic growth in the long term.
