Support poli̇ci̇es for agri̇cultural products: Compari̇son of Turkey and EU

Agriculture is vital sector for all countrie to provide producing of primary demands. Therefore, agriculture policies and developments that had been made for agriculture are current issues all the time.Europian union intends to provide standardization in technics by gathering all agiculture policies of member countries in a uniqe roof. With common agricultural policies which are created In this context, supporting policies are developed not only to determine the amount of production , to ensure the sustainability of agriculture and to achieve balanced growth in all areas. Various agricultural support policies have been applied in Turkey, sometimes to increase production sometimes reduce overproduction and to compensate for production. However, these policies did not reach the target exactly because of the major structural problems of Turkish agriculture was performed without bringing solutions. The purpose of this study, to examine the EU and Turkey which are applied in agricultural support policies on basis of statistical data. The study main material consists of secondary data. In addition, was utilized the EU and our country's official institutions published which are periodicle and non-periodicle broadcasts. According to the subject of this study, resaerched EU offical union legislation, information was requested from General Directorate of EU and Foreign Affairs and has benefited from the relevant website. İncluding Republic of Turkey Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock first, within possibilities was obteined publications and documents of agriculture-related organizations. Then , heve benefited from previous studies on this subject as secondary. Data and related tables are selected from the current. In some particular cases has also been consulted on the earlier data.
