Abstract (EN)
Advertisement which is considered as one of marketing mixes, is excessively used by organizations to affect consumers. In the present conditions of competition, advertisements having high importance in touristic regard mean that countries use to attract tourists. Similarly, advertisement is an important marketing tool that hotels which are one of the most important elements of tourism sector, use to announce products and services to consumers and overcome their competitors. Main purpose of this study is to understand the effect of advertisements on destination choose over the tourists visited our country and if that effect exists, determination of the imposing factors. This study was designed quantitatively and the survey technique was utilized in the data collection method. A total of 402 samples were obtained and the obtained data were analyzed by SPSS 21 packet program. Study concludes that advertisements have an effect on destination choose, most of the tourists visited our country made their choice on accomodation under the effect of advertisments. In addition, two important factors that led tourists to visit Istanbul are internet and family or friend advice.
