Practicing assets of undergraduate tourism education institutions in Turkey

There are two types of teaching method on the basis of tourism education. These are theoretical education and practical training. In this context, a practical application for schools providing education in the field of tourism, facilities are important to be prepared. In this study, on the basis of this requirement at the undergraduate level tourism education institutions in Turkey to obtain information about the current state of practice opportunities, within the framework of this issue and if the problems encountered and intended to introduce proposals for the solution of these problems.In order to achieve the objectives of the study mentioned in the literature in order to obtain the needed data, secondary data analysis and survey methods were used to achieve the primary sources. Review of the literature related to the topic of secondary data analysis on the conceptual framework developed and supported by the structure. The questionnaire used to collect data with 44 institutions providing tourism education at the undergraduate level. Questionnarrie mailed to 97 faculty members loaded with practical class hours, 64 of these (62%) return.In order to measure the meaning of the data collected by questionnaire-based descriptors were subjected to analysis of statistical difference. According to the results obtained by analysis of the data collected in this research universities in terms of application possibilities of investment. Some problems have identified on investment, strategy and regulatory issues.Keywords: Tourism education, Hands-on training, Practicing facilities.
