Abstract (EN)
Satire, which is a genre where the artist presents her criticisms against the problems in life in an artistic form, is included in work as a type of poetry. Every poem carries traces of poet, time and space to which it belongs. Since satirical poetry directly sources society, its purpose is to reflect the state of time and space. Therefore, the satire is an artistic narrative that contains historical evidence. Contemporary Uighur poet Tursunbeg İbrahim Taymas has undertaken the identity of being the spokesperson of his people through literature as a person who can question his situation. It was put forward a study with the idea that the subjects he criticized from the book named "Sekkiz Süritim" in which his satirical poems were collected will give important clues about his world of ideas. The aim of the study is to introduce the poet to Turkish literature and to show to what extent satirism has taken place in Contemporary Uyghur literature through Taymas. In the thesis, Tursunbeg İbrahim Taymas's satirical poems were transcribed from the Uighur alphabet of Arabic origin to the Latin alphabet. And a thematic review was conducted in terms of the subjects it presented. It should be noted that 'satire' term in the literature Turkey "hiciv/yergi" was met by the term, in the study, the term "satire", which is also used in Contemporary Uyghur, was preferred.
