Abstract (EN)
One of the most important cereal plants used in the feeding of the whole world population is wheat. One of the most important factors limiting the yield of this important grain is salinity. The percentage of LTR retrotransposons, which play an important role in genome rearrangement by influencing various environmental factors in the wheat genome, is quite high. In this study, salicylic acid application (0 mM, 0.5 mM and 1 mM) in salinity stress (0 mM, 100 mM, 200 mM and 300 mM) induced by NaCl using Kırik bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and the effect on LTR retrotransposon polymorphism were investigated. In the application, 5 IRAP primers [N-57 (Nikita), Stowaway, Sukkula, BARE-1 (0) ve E 2647 (Nikita)] were used and ISSR (UBC 811, UBC 826, 8081, 8082) primers in the REMAP technique that based on the method of retrotransposons were used. As a result of research, it was determined that salinity caused an increase in retrotransposon polymorphism and a decrease in GTS value, but salicylic acid treatment caused a decrease in retrotransposon polymorphism and an increase in GTS value under salinity stress.
