Abstract (EN)
Globalization has increased the need for faster transfer of traded goods, money or documents. The transportation sector, which is necessary for the increase in the volume of international trade and accordingly the realization of international trade, is also growing day by day. Due to the nature of the business, the international trade process involves various risks. Among these risks, related to marketing and payment are briefly discussed. In this thesis, these risks in international transportation were examined and it was aimed to investigate the precautions to be taken and the methods of protection from risks. It is aimed to reveal the measures taken to prevent disruptions that may occur due to transportation risks. In order to avoid the risks to be faced in international transportation, it is recommended to choose the right transportation systems according to the properties and characteristics of the materials to be transported, to adhere to all regulations and rules according to the selected system, to train the employees by taking into account the risks that may be caused by the human factor, and to provide the necessary up-to-date protection infrastructures in information systems.
