Investigating the relationship between creative personality traits and social entrepreneurship tendency of university students: the case of Agri province

Abstract (EN)

This research aims to identify how students' creative personality traits affect their tendency to be social entrepreneurs. The quantitative research model was applied in the study and the data were obtained by administering a questionnaire to 335 students selected by convenience sampling method. As a result of the research, it was found that there was no significant difference between university students' creative personality traits and their social entrepreneurship tendencies, and that there was a weak positive relationship. It was also found that there is a low-level positive relationship between creative personality traits and social vision, innovation, sustainability and social networks. It was found that there was a low-level negative relationship between social entrepreneurial tendency and goal orientation, a moderate-level positive relationship with intrinsic motivation, and a low-level positive relationship with risk taking. There is a low-level negative relationship between goal orientation and financial return, a moderately positive relationship between intrinsic motivation and social vision, a low-level positive relationship between financial return, a moderately positive relationship between innovation, sustainability and social networks, and a low-level positive relationship between risk-taking and social vision. In the research, it is concluded that as the creative personality traits of university students increase, their social entrepreneurship tendencies also increase.
