The effect on ischemic precondition on anaerobic performance in voleyball players

Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to establish the effect of ischemic preconditions on anaerobic performance in volleyball players. The study was done with 12 male athletes. Based on the demographic information of athletes participating in the study, the average age of subjects was 19±2,05, height averages 1,84±6,19, body weight averages were 75,5±8,09. Day 1 Rast Test and Vertical Jump tests from athletes are recorded. After the pre-test data has been received, the athletes on day 3 are separated from their random system in ISO (n=6) and Sham (n=6). 5 minutes of 5 reperfusion with 3 sets of both upper leg zones by adding +50mmHg to the 3 day ISO group applied. The Rast Test and Vertical Jump Test were then performed and the data was recorded to determine athletes' anaerobic performance. The Sham group was followed by a pressure of 30mmHg, which does not form the ischemia, followed by a Rast and Vertical Splash Test. On day 5, measurements were taken as stated on day 3 by diagonally shifting the ISO and Sham group. Two-way Repeat variant Analysis is used to perform statistical analysis of data obtained after the measurements applied. The confidence interval for all statistical actions performed is set to p<0.05. Analysis did not detect any significant difference in vertical jump, minimum power, maximum power, fatigue index parameters. The mean power parameter has detected a meaning. This is detected in the preliminary test and ischemia group. It has been found that the ISO has no impact on the average power value because it has an impact on every 2 groups.
