Abstract (EN)

The concept of value is a concept that is the subject of many researches and is the subject of a lot of emphasis. Values are all of the common goals, attitudes and behaviors, thoughts and beliefs that are accepted, adopted and considered to be correct in order to maintain the existence of individuals and societies. Values, as in every other field, have undergone changes and transformations with the development of technology, industrialization and modernization. The study focuses on the transformation in the value judgments of the three generations living in Seydişehir. In this direction, the aim of this study is to reveal whether the values of X, Y and Z generations differ and to determine whether generational conflicts are experienced or not. In the research, firstly, a literature review was made about the relevant concepts and the theoretical framework was revealed. Then, the opinions of the generations about their values were taken by using the survey technique on the subject. The population of the study consists of individuals born in 1964 and later (Generation X), born in 1980 and later (Generation Y), born in 2000 and later (Generation Z) living in Seydişehir District of Konya Province, whose ages are between the ages of 11-58, and a total of 381 people who would represent the universe were evaluated. Participants' responses to the survey; percentage, frequency values and crosstabulations. According to the findings obtained, it was determined that there were no serious differentiations in the value judgments of the generations and that there were changes in some values while some values continued to exist. In addition, as a result of the analyzes carried out, it was concluded that intergenerational conflicts are very rare and this does not show continuity.
