Abstract (EN)
Lean Six Sigma is a management system that allows companies to significantly improve their profitability. While wastes and resource usage are minimized in this system, it is essential to review and improve business processes. Global world companies have made significant gains in operating income by using the Lean Six Sigma method in their processes in recent years. The Lean Six Sigma methodology, aiming for process excellence, provides the opportunity to be the best in its class while providing profitability, efficiency and market share increase to the implementing organizations. In this study, using lean six sigma strategies tools and techniques [DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analysis-Improve-Control)] in a machining line in the casting industry, the implementation of the recommended solutions and the defect rate of processes that do not have added value has been greatly reduced in production.
