Yapı Kredi Sermet Çifter Library Y/0723 numbered Mecmû'a-i Kasâid's classification according to the systematic classification of magazines (MESTAP)

-Derived from the word root "cem" in Arabic, MecmûǾa means a collected, accumulated, organized manuscript in the form of a book or a notebook. These manuscripts called "MecmûǾa" are based on the compilation and division of hadiths into sections. Basically, there are manuscripts written on any subject in different genres, forms, and languages. The most important ones for classical Turkish literature are poetry manuscripts. Poetry manuscripts started to appear in the 15th century, and their numbers increased exponentially in the following centuries. Poetry manuscripts correspond to today's anthology books. However, they are important as they include biographical and historical information. Kasîde (Ode) was transferred from Arabic literature to Persian literature and from there to Turkish literature. The first odes in Turkish literature started to appear in the Divân-ı Kebir by Mevlana in the 13th century. They are basically poems written to praise. MecmûǾa-i Kasâid is a collection of odes belonging to different poets. There are a total of 64 odes in MecmûǾai Kasâid. In the manuscript, odes written by 7 poets were identified: 'Amrî, Necâtî, Nev'î, Ümîdî, Şem'î, Sâfî, and Hicrî. The odes of the poets in the manuscript were compared with their aruz prosody. The compiler and date of compilation of the manuscript could not be determined. Information about the rhythm (vezin), rhyme (kafiye), suffix consonance (redif) features of odes in the manuscript and their section and the people to whom they were attributed to are shown in the tables. There is no prose section in the manuscript except poetry. The transcript version of the text was included in the study, and the facsimile was added after the transcript version as an annex. In this study, "MecmûǾa-i Kasâid", registered in Yapı Kredi Sermet Çifter Library No. Y-0723 was classified according to MESTAP.
