Forecasting Giresun temperature with artificial intelligence methods

Numerical temperature prediction models use various observations and measures are used forecasting temperature. Time series forecasting methods can also be used for temperature forecasting. In this thesis, the forecasting performance of artificial intelligence methods is compared with the Turkish State Meteorological Service forecasting performance for Giresun maximum and minimum temperature. According to thesis findings, it is concluded that the forecasting results of some artificial intelligence methods are superior to Turkish State Meteorological Service forecasts.
