Assistant reproduction techniques and comparison of breastfeeding attitudes and breastfeeding self-efficiency of mothers WİTH spontaneous

This study was conducted in a descriptive and comparative type in order to evaluate the postpartum breastfeeding attitude and breastfeeding self-efficacy of mothers who conceived by assisted reproductive techniques and spontaneously. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 121 mothers, 47 of were ART and 74 of were pregnant spontaneously. The data were collected between 01.12.2020-01.05.2021 by using the Mother Diagnosis Form, Breastfeeding Questionnaire, Breastfeeding Attitude Assessment Scale (ETDÖ), Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale (EÖYÖ) and LATCH at postpartum 4th month and 6 months collected by phone calls at. Chi-square, Mann-Whitney U, independent sample t test, Kruskal Wallis test and Pearson correlation analysis were used to evaluate the data. In the study, the mean scores of the mothers who conceived spontaneously at the 4th and 6th months ETDÖ were 120.77±19.64 and 113.01±21.48, mean scores of the 4th and 6th months EÖYÖ were 55.11±10.28 and 51.93±12.94, 4th and 6th month LATCH scores were found to be 8.51±1.97 and 7.97±2.53. The 4th and 6th month ETDÖ mean scores of the mothers who conceived with assisted reproductive techniques were 96.38±13.03 and 92.87±13.89, 4th and 6th month EÖYÖ mean scores were 40.04±9.32 and 37.49±10.39, 4th and 6th months LATCH scores at the were 6.51±2.42 and 6.79±2.75.
