Abstract (EN)
New three chiral aminoalcohol-benzimidazole hybrids have been synthesised from commercially available amino alcohols [S(+)-Phenylglycinol, S(-)- Phenylalaninol and S(+)- Leuicinol] and 2-(chloromethyl)-N-tosyl-1-H-benzimidazole. The synthesized compound entirely characterized by IR, NMR, and LC-MS analysis. The antimicrobial properties of compounds 4a, 4b and 4c against important pathogens were investigated by the well-diffusion method. These new chiral compounds have demonstrated significant antimicrobial activity.
