Abstract (EN)
Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is defined as an aircraft without a pilot and capable of carrying passengers in the air. The advancement of UAV technology in communication and network technologies has increased its use in commercial and military applications. The concept of urban air mobility (KHH-UAM-Urban Air Mobility), which has been studied since the 1950s, has begun to revive with the implementation of new technologies in the field of battery technology, sensor technology, microprocessors, electrical propulsion system and automation. The introduction of KHH and its acceptance by the society will help overcome urban congestion, reduce travel time and facilitate access to remote areas. The fact that electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and eliminate the problem of urban congestion reveals the idea that these vehicles are promising for the future. This new airport, which supports the departure and arrival operations of eVTOL vehicles and provides urban and intercity air mobility, is defined as a vertiport. The Vertiport design criteria will provide the foundation to begin safely building the infrastructure that eVTOLs will use in this new era. In this context, the vertiport design criteria, which is the airport structure where eVTOL aircraft will land and take off, have been researched and examined in detail.
