Abstract (EN)
This study is an attempt to evaluate the thinking content of people diagnosed with high functioning autism spectrum disorder (ASD). For this purpose, this study is conducted within the context of the phenomenology design of qualitative research design. Study group consists of 26 people diagnosed high functioning autism spectrum disorder. The data was gathered through Socio-demographic Form and Beier Sentence Completion Test. Descriptive analysis and content analysis were used to analyse the data gathered. Through this, sentence completions' answers given by people diagnosed with high functioning autism disorder categorised as codes by the practitioner. Out of the completed sentences, the frequency of the sentences was defined using the most completed sentences by 26 people. Eight sentences completed most were chosen as themes. These themes categorised as fitting to our study regarding the answers given by autistic people. Feelings and thoughts codes from these sentences make our study meaningful. The finding and possible solutions gathered from the study was discussed within the frame of literature. Key Words: Autism Spectrum Disorder, High Functioning Autism, Theory of Mind.
