Sûrah Yûnus and its rhetorical side along with examples from other exegesis

Those who seek to explore the Qur'an should first have knowledge of the Qur'anic sciences that contribute to the understanding of the Qur'an and address verses in different aspects. There is no doubt that the linguistic and literary aspects of the Qur'an have an important place in these sciences. In order for the Qur'an to be understood correctly, the literary arts in the verses must be correctly identified and known. Studies with this aim not only affected the development of rhetoric, but also facilitated the examination of the Qur'an from a more comprehensive perspective. The purpose of writing this thesis is to help the one who reads the surah of Yûnus, which is one of the sûrahs of the Holy Qur'an with perfect arts, to see the rhetorical practices contained in it. In this thesis, the works of linguists who mention the rhetoric bases of the Qur'anic verses and the exegeses expressing the direction of rhetoric are used as sources. Besides, views of linguists such as Ahmet Husayn Al-Ahdelî on the artistic aspects of 51 verses, Mahmud Safi on 19 verses and Muhyiddin Dervis on 19 verses are presented. In addition, detailed investigations were made on the exegesis, and as a result of this examination, it is found that eight verses in the exegesis of Al-Kashaf, fourteen verses in Mafatihu'l-Gayb, thirty-three verses in Safwetu'-Tafasir, five in Büyük Kur'an Tefsiri, thirty-four verses in al-Tafsir al-Munîr and forty-two verses in Ma'âricu't-Tafakkur and Dakâku't Tadabbur inform us about some literary principles.
