Abstract (EN)

In this study which aims at indicating the place in popular Turkish literature by studying all products of the author and prepared by means of the interviews and the articles written about the author in newspapers and magazines, "Zülfü Livaneli's Novels and Novel Writing" has been investigated. In the introductory part, the progression period of Turkish novels from Tanzimat to Republic is searched and the information about Zülfü Livaneli's status in this period is given. The first part consists of the biography, profeesional life and works of Zülfü Livaneli. Based on the book "Roman Çözümleme Yöntemi" by Nurullah Çetin, summaries of the novels have been dealt with and the third part includes the study of subjects, theme, time, location, characters, plot, plot consistency, connection between the texts, types of fiction, language and genre of the author's novels' .The conclusion part is about the features of the novels and the novel writing of Zülfü Livaneli that we detected and the provisions that we reached. Based on the result of the studies and observations, it is determined that the works of Zülfü Livaneli fostered by real life have broken the records in Turkish and world literature. It is deteremined that in his novels, he explains the people's different lives, feelings and thoughts by varying them , he focuses on the problems of the people and the society affected by the charateristics of period and he sometimes explains his thoughts adhering to the litarary utterance. It is specified that the novelist who wants to be consistent about his novels is attentive both about the form and the content and he can bring them together in a perfect harmony.
