Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to compare the PRAST test and Wingate anaerobic cycling test in 14-16 year old basketball players. For this purpose, 40 male athletes, who play licensed basketball in three different sports clubs in the central district of Kastamonu, voluntarily participated in the research. PRAST test, Wingate test and anthropometric measurements were used as data collection tools in the research. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 22 package program. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that the average power values of the participants in the WanT test were 415.88±110.12 watts, and the average of the average power values of the pediatric RAST test was 600.11±125.84 watts. In addition, as a result of the Pearson Correlation Analysis performed to determine the relationship between the PRAST test and the Wingate test, a highly significant relationship was found between the two variables. As a result of these findings, it can be said that the PRAST test can be used instead of the Wingate test.
