Abstract (EN)
Thisstudyaimstoevaluatetheeffects of coretrainingsbyamateurfemale rugby players on parameterssuch as strength, speed, agility, anaerobicpowerandbalance. Thestudywasconductedwith 24 total beginnerfemale rugby playersbetweentheage of 15-17 at Kastamonu Asya Youthand Sports Club. Theplayersweredividedintotwoequalgroups of 12 players as thecontrolandexperimentalgroup. Bothgroupstrainedthreedays a weekoverthecourse of eightweeksandalongwiththis 8-week trainingprogramme, theexperimentalgroupperformedcoretrainingprogramme. Data analysiswasreviewedaccordingtothesignificancelevel of p<0.05 by SPSS 22.0. Accordingtothefindings, there is nosignificantdifference in themeasurements of strength – back, strength – leg, 30m speed, T agility, balance – dominant andbalance – nondominant (p>0.05). There is a significantdifferenceonly in verticaljump, which is an anaerobicpowerparameter (p<0.05). Whenthepre-test and post-test results of theexperimentalgrouparecompared, it is seenthatthere is not a significantdifference in 30m speedand T agility (p>0.05), on theotherhand, there is a significantdifference in themeasurements of strength – back, strength – leg, verticaljump, balance – dominant andbalance – nondominant (p<0.05). Theresultsshowthatcoretrainingalongwiththe rugby trainingprogrammeforamateurfemale rugby playersbetweentheage of 15-17 increasestheplayers' performance of backstrength, legstrength, dominant balanceandnon-dominant balance, additionally, somepositivecontributions can be seenforspeedandagilityparametersalthoughthere is nomeaningfulstaticticalevidence. Consequently, it can be saidthatcoretrainingprogrammesarequitebeneficialforincreasingtheplayers' performance.
