The socio-economic structure of depending of Kalecik township Sofular Neighborhood,Saray Neighborhood,Çarık Neighborhood,Taşra Neighborhood,Düşkünler Neighborhood i̇n the mid 19th century (Based on temettuat and population registess)

In 1839, very important developments have been happened in Ottoman Empire with the rescript of the Gülhane noticing. This developments cause changings on tax system. Tax farming system has been canceled and instead of the various taxes which are taken from people, single tax system has been applied. With this tax, namely Temettuat Tax, everyone starts to pay taxes according to their income. Temettuat Taxes has been recorded Temettuat records book. There are information about household head's property, that is to say land vineyards, orchards, garden, estate, animals and products at the Temettuat Record Books, which are aimed to collect tax. The main goal is determining the economic power. At the present time, Temettuat Record Books, which are belongs to Finance Ministry, are in the Ottoman Archives of the Prime Ministry. They named as "Maliye Nezareti Varidat Muhabesi Temettuat Defteri" at the Ottoman Archives of the Prime Ministry. Sofular, Saray, Düşkünler, Çarık and Taşra discrict's transcription and evaluation and also population record book analyses were used in this post graduate thesis study.
