Abstract (EN)

In the study examining the concept of family in Turkish cinema between 1970-1980, the films Umut, Anneler ve Kızları, Return, Bride, Daughter Ayşe, Bizim Aile, Family Honor, King of Garbage, Sultan, Germany Acı Vatan and Banker Bilo were examined in terms of family structure. In the first part of the study, there is the section that includes family and conceptual information about the family. In this chapter, the concept of family, functions of family, theories about family, types of family, transformation and models of family are mentioned. In the second part of the study, the historical development of the Turkish family, the family structure in the old Turks, the family structure in the Adoption of Islam and the family structure in the Republican period were mentioned, then an overview of Turkish cinema was examined, and the representation of the Family in Turkish Cinema and Turkish Cinema between the years 1970-1980. In the fourth chapter, the socio-economic situation of Turkey between the years 1950-1980 was examined. In the last part of the study, the tags, summaries and analyzes of the films, the changes and transformations of the family, the codes of the family members in the family structure and its reflections on the family members were examined by considering the institutional framework.
