Glucose level was increased in obese compared to control and overweight. The levels of triglycerides and VLDL were increased significantly in obese and overweight compared to control. Moreover, the levels of the last two parameters were significantly higher in obese compared to overweight. The cholesterol and LDL levels were significantly higher in obese and overweight compared to control. Nevertheless, HDL level was decreased in obese and overweight compared to control. The activities of ALT, AST, and ALP were increased significantly in obese compared to control and overweight. Clearly, obesity induce significant change on the metabolic functions in people.
