Abstract (EN)

Behavioral finance affects many branches of science today, causing the individual to show cognitive and emotional tendencies in the decisions to be made. When the individual uses both cognitive and emotional tendencies correctly, he has prepared an effective decision mechanism. Accordinggly, it is observed that more effective results are achieved in decision making process with the individual knowing such emotional and cognitive tendencies both in practice and in theory. This study, aims to reveal the cognitive and emotional tendencies that affect decision making on the basis of behavioral finance by using bibliometric analysis method according to sources ublished across World and in Turkey, authors, citation numbers, countries, languages and years. Within the scope of the research, the keyword "behavioral finance" was written in Turkish and English in the introduction part of the Scopus database, where the search term was written, and the databases were examined. For the bibliometric analysis of the articles accessed from the databases specified in the research, studies in the field of behavioral finance and behavioral finance trends were evaluated. Accordingly, the distribution according to the branches of science, the number of studies by years, the number of citations of the studies, the number of studies on the basis of universities, the types of studies, the journals in which the study was conducted were examined. published, the words and word groups used in the study were searched and the relevant parameters were determined. Content analysis method was used while making inferences about the articles. In line with the results of the research, it was concluded that the effects of behavioral finance on the individual and behavioral finance trends and they made the right financial decisions.
