Abstract (EN)

The public space is a political sphere where conflicts of interest among different identities take place. It is as fragmented as the extent to which it accommodates diverse identities, and as strong as the extent to which these different identities unite around common interests. Feminist politics seeks to preserve differences within the public sphere while also enabling women to produce a shared feminist policy. The aim of this study is to explore the possibility of producing a common feminist policy without ignoring the differences among women within the context of public sphere debates. Accordingly, the issues of Pazartesi Magazine, published by feminist women in the 1990s, were examined. It has been observed that emphasizing women's common interests is necessary in order to produce feminist politics. Keywords: Public Space, Feminism, Women's Movement in the 1990's, Pazartesi Journal
