Abstract (EN)

With this study on the topic of Bayburt and its surroundings by using the information in the land registry book number 46, many data have been revealed by examining the content of the relevant book. For this purpose, it is aimed to use tables to compare the data in a reliable way. Bayburt township took the first place and it was followed by Kelkit, Koğans and Yağmurderesi towns in this registry book where we can find the details of the city of Bayburt and its surroundings, towards the end of the Murat III ruling era, which was between 1574-1595. In 1592, the date of the registry book, Kelkit was the only city with the majority of the Turkish population among these cities, which are the townships of the Erzurum shire. The region that is the subject of our study generally covers the settlements where the majority of non-Muslims are located. In our study, various revenues of Bayburt, Kelkit, Koğans and Yağmurderesi sub-districts, which are the topics of he registry book, were examined separately. The relevant data are presented for evaluation within separate disciplines.
