Abstract (EN)
In this master's thesis, the "Crime of Fraud through Information Systems", which is regulated in Article 158/1-f of the Turkish Criminal Code No. 5237, is examined. In the crime of fraud through information systems, which is tried to be examined within the framework of the general theory of crime, it is evaluated especially in terms of fraud and information systems that give the crime its characteristic feature. In addition, the opinions in the doctrine on the subject are given and the concrete cases that have been subject to the decisions of the Court of Cassation in practice are mentioned. Finally, comparative explanations of the crimes that are likely to be confused in practice with the crime of fraud through information systems are given and the differences between them are tried to be mentioned.
