Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine tfe effects of swimming training of 8 weeks of water exercise on the swimming performance, body com position and different motoric characteristics of 9-11 age group children. For this purpors, 60 children aged between 9- 11 years were included in the study. İn the study, by applying the pre-test and post-test pattern, the children's body 25m, 50m, 100m, 200m, freestyle swimming degrees were recorded togerher with its composition, flexibility and vertical jump performances. It has been determined that swimming trainings are effective in developing different motoric features of children and increasing their swimming performance.
