Abstract (EN)
Aluminum is one of the most abundant elements in nature and the most used metal after steel. Aluminum has a good corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity. Conversely the rigidity, mechanic and abrasion resistances of aluminum is low compared the steel. Therefore, the applications of aluminum are limited. Also, in the mechanisms which use Al composites loss of use is observed because of the excessive friction. Due to these conditions lifecycle of Al composite materials have decreased. Al alloys to enhance the longevity and strength of heat treatment is applied. In the context of this thesis, first of all aluminum alloys of AA 2014 and AA 6082 were kept in pneumatic annealing furnace in 530oC for 20 minutes and homogenized. After that experiments were treated aging and oxidation processes in 550oC and 600oC temperatures for 3, 5 and 7 hours in traditional furnace. Subsequently oxidized Al alloys were treated corrosion process. Metallographic processes were followed by microstructure analyze of test specimens. Layer / surface images were obtained on microscope (SEM). Also rigidity of the oxide layer were measured in microvickers hardness (HV0,05) device under load of 50 gr. Phase analysis of the layers which was formed as a result of thermo chemical surface treatment were made with using CuKα ( = 1,5418 A°) radiation in X-ray diffractometer. Oxidized specimens in air atmosphere a tube furnace were processed of corrosion. Tests of corrosion were performed with using 8 mm diameter ball in conditions without lubrication. Also tests of wear were performed under single load (5 N), 0,25 m/s shear rate, 300 meters distance and at room temperature. Artificial aging structure of Al alloys in the presence of a phase was determined by SEM analysis of the current phase of the study examined the effects of mechanical properties. Available in a variety of sample microstructure in aging temperature oxidation of the precipitate, which amounts to the formation and hardness were investigated.
