Abstract (EN)

In our study, wetriedtodeterminethereasons of violence in helathcaresystembypatientsandtheircompanıons. Weconductedthiscrosssectionalstudy in ordertoanalyzethecritics of public on healthcaresystemandhealthcarestaff. Weaskedtopatientsandtheırcompanıonstofillquestıonnaire. Wekepttheirinformationsanonymous. Theaim of thısstudy is evaluatethereasons of violence in healthcaresystemandsolvethis problem. %45,2 of participantsourstudywerewomenwhile %54.8 of themwere men. %50.6 of theoneswhoinvolved on argumentwere men while %49,4 of themwerewomen. %57,8 of themwere in theagebetween 20-29 yearsold. It is followedbytherange 30-39 yearsold. %49,4 of themweremarried. Themajority of theoneswhoinvolved in an argumentwere self employees (%31,3) Unemployess (%28,4) andcivilseruants(%25,3) %45,8 of themwereearning minimum wage.Thesecondmajorityweretheoneswhoearns 1000-2000 tlwith rate of %27,7. Theresult of ourresearch on educational background foundthemajority of theoneswhoinvolved in an argumentweregraduatedand post graduated. (%65.1) Themajority of participients (%60,3) gave ' therudebehavior of healthcarestaff as a reason'. Themostcommonreasonswaswaiting (%74,1). Otherreasonswereimpatienceand stres of patientsandtheircompanions. (%55,3) dissatisfyingtreatment (%33) neglect of examine (%30,2), paying not enoughattentiontopatient (%28,9) andunfairexaminepriority (%25,4) payingmoreattentiontoproceduresthentopatientswasthe %24,9 of thereasons. Latearrived of consultantphysicianswas %24,4 of reasons %24,4 of thereasonswasinsufficientstaff %23,6 , feelingbadnews %19,5 wasinadequacy of medicalcenter. Refusingnonemergencycasesbyhealthcarestaffwas %14,5 of thereasons. Insufficienttoleration is the %53,8 of thereason on increasingviolence. Healthpolictes (%52) educationalandculturedproblems (%43,2). Abuse of healthcarestaff (%40,4) dedaration of politics (%37,8) insufficientknowledge of patientrights (%37,8) Publications whichdamageshealthcarestaffreputations (%36,3) economicalproblems (%34,8) increasedexpectations (%33,5) authoritygap (29,7) andloss of faithandvalues (%20,8) areotherreasons.
