Abstract (EN)

Despite the fact that modern economic life attaches great importance to specialization and certification, we are aware of the fact that while a great part of the organizations in our field are specialized in specialization, they do not pay much attention to certification. This situation shows that these institutions acting with a competitive approach do not complete their modernization processes and they act with a systematic and analytical management in terms of conditions. The existence of a competitive structure amongst wood and forestry industrial enterprises is obvious. This entity in itself exhibits a relatively distant approach from scientific as a result of different dynamics. This scientific research, which we are trying to analyze the competitive structure of the wood and forest products industry in the Tosya district of Kastamonu province, has been carried out in a spatial analyze with 92 organizations operating. As a result of this study, it has been concluded that the competitiveness varies significantly with the firms' annual capacity ratios and that the competition increases the success. Nevertheless, the result of the fact that paternalist thought which does not belong to the modern world is an important factor in this competitive process has come as a surprise. While managing organizations through one person is contradictory with the basic paradigms of modern economic life, it is still functional in terms of contributing to the continuity of the competitive understanding of the modern era.
