Abstract (EN)

Ağlar Baba is an important sufi, poet and purchase who was born in Siptoros (Oruçbeyli) village of Bayburt and spent his all life at this region during XIX. and XX. Centuries recent periods of ottoman. Ağlar Baba took his ratification from Erzincanlı Vehbi Hayyati's and İrşadî Baba's numinous characters who was his gradfather and one of the numbers of Nakşibendi cult. Therefore Ağlar Baba became both disciple and guide of Nakşibendi cult. He completed poetic work " Kısas-ı Enbiya" his grandfather left incompleted, besides that he wrote out some literary works expressed his own sufustic opinious like "Tasavvuf Mesnevisi, Ebyat-ı Ağlar Baba ( Ağlar Baba Divanı) ve Tefsir-i İnnaenzelnâ ve Şem'ûn Gâzî Mesnevisi". Ağlar Baba adopted a sufistic way of love, showed the true path to people during his age and region and left a trace in people's mind and heart. In this study, the life of Ağlar Baba, his sufistic, scientific and literary character tried to be pointed out by analysing his works and views about sufism.
