Abstract (EN)

In this study, block construction members produced from pumice, diatomite and tufe originated aggregates were aimed as building materials in construction sector. Block construction members were produced using three different types of light aggregates. Fifteen different series of blocks specimens were produced using mechanical briquette machine. All of the mixes Water/Cement ratios are 0,15 as fixed and five different aggregate grades were determined. The block specimens? values of compression strength, ultrasonic sound velocity, unit volume weight, bulk porosity and water absorption were determined and changes on the specimens were determined under the freezing-thawing, high temperature affects. Furthermore, the specimens? thermal conductivity and capillary water absorption coefficients were calculated. The blocks, produced pumice, diyatomite and tufe aggregates as separately, unit volume weights are changed between 1100?1400 kg/m3 and 7-56 daily compression strengths value are changed between 1,5?14 N/mm2 . Besides the specimens thermal conductivity coefficients are changed 0,259?0,582 W/mK.
