Determination of occupational accidents factors and occupational accidents probability functions in wood and furniture industry: Case of Çorum

Wood and furniture manufacturing sector is the fifth sector with the highest number of occupational accidents; It is in the dangerous class in terms of work accident. Because; It is necessary to take the necessary measures to reduce occupational accidents by determining the factors that increase the number of accidents in the wood and furniture manufacturing sector. With this; Studies on the determination of the factors affecting occupational accidents in the wood and furniture manufacturing sector are limited. In order to fill this gap, in this thesis study, for a sample selected from Çorum, wood and furniture manufacturing sector; The effects of tens of factors under the headings of demographic, work-related features, occupational health and safety-related features, features related to the causes of occupational accidents and features related to occupational diseases on the number of accidents in the last 1 year and the last 5 years were investigated. According to the results obtained, what should be done to reduce the number of work accidents was discussed in detail.
