Abstract (EN)
This research investigates the basic research question related to how to explain the continuity problem of family business in the region of Western Mediterranean part of Turkey, which have succedded to third generation, reached a considerable size (minimum 50 personnel) and which have an average age of 50 years in 4 different cities by applying case study as a research technique. Findings imply that family business have some common elements like founders, succession, family and business values and strategic behavior.
