Abstract (EN)

One of the problems encountered in the shaping of sheet metal is springback. In order to ensure that the parts to be released from the molds are within the desired tolerance limits, it is important to determine the springback of the bended sheet plates. In this thesis, the springback of the sheet metal in V bending molds was investigated experimentally. In order to determine the springback results, V bending mold was designed and AISI 304, EN 10130 DC01, Copper sheet plates were used as test material. Samples with thicknesses of 1 and 2 mm were tested at 60, 90 and 120 degrees mold angles and different bending radius values of 2 mm and 4 mm for each angle. After the experiments, the springback of the samples were taken by using a tool measuring device with image processing system. The results obtained from the experiments were compared according to the determined parameters. As a result of the experiments, the most springback was observed in the copper sheet. It was seen that the mold angle increased as the spring back decreased. It was observed that the with the springback is decreased and with the increasing bending Radius the springback is increased.
