Abstract (EN)
Intelligent design, which is a form of explanation that argues that it is not possible for the complex structures of living things to be formed by material mechanisms and processes, is a modern version of the design claims in living things, in which William Paley (1743-1805)'s views are reinterpreted in the light of scientific developments. Intelligent designers claim that their arguments are scientific, but evolutionists consider these arguments unscientific. In this study, the scientificity problem of intelligent design is discussed by evaluating the views of both parties. The study discusses what science is, the limits of science, and the topics of pseudoscience. It is observed that unscientific and pseudoscientific explanations are more philosophical interpretations rather than scientific studies. In our research, it is concluded that the strong influence of evolutionary explanations at the present times, It has also been concluded that intelligent evolution studies can be conducted.coupled with the advanced complexity at the molecular level, suggests the potential validity of both viewpoints. It has also been concluded that intelligent evolution studies can be conducted. Keywords: Complexity, Design, Evolution, Philosophy of Religion, Pseudoscience, Science
