Abstract (EN)
Aim: To evaluate the effects of Inflammatory Parameters on mortality and prognosis in Patients Hospitalized and Phenotypically Classified with Acute Heart Failure. Methods: A total of 240 patients who were newly diagnosed with AHF or diagnosed with HF and developed decompensation between December 2020 and August 2021 were included in the study. Patients were divided into 4 equal groups according to the phenotypic class of AHF (hot-wet, hot-dry, cold-wet, cold-dry). .The acute phase reactants examined were compared in terms of mortality and prognosis between the groups. Results: A one-unit increase in albumin value during the first hospitalization reduces mortality 0.794 times (p<0.001). A one-unit increase in CRP value during the first hospitalization increases mortality 1.013 times (p=0.003). A one-unit increase in sedimentation value during the first hospitalization increases mortality 1.026 times (p=0.002). A one-unit increase in albumin value at discharge reduces mortality 0.85 times (p=0.043). A statistically significant difference was found in mortality values between the groups (p=0.019). When we examined the mortality situation in more detail, although there was a statistically significant difference between the in-hospital mortality distributions between the groups (p=0.032), there was no statistically significant difference between the out-of-hospital mortality distributions (p >0.050). Conclusions: It was determined that the changes in acute phase reactants measured during the first hospitalization and discharge decreased mortality in the patient groups with AHF classified as phenotypically.
