The first quarter of the 21st century provides a lot of evidence that we are at the "end of growth". Global capitalism, driven by greed, competition, individual ambition and debt, creates "imaginary wealth" with a relentless growth, deepening inequality, threatening nature and world societies. Poverty, war, crime, unemployment, racism, hunger are spreading day by day. The deepening and growing of inequality caused us to question the point of view of neo-liberal economics and to think about alternative approaches. This enabled the concept of solidarity, which has been neglected for a long time in social and political theory, to see the attention it deserves again. Resilient and common attitude of new social movements, identity and labor struggles in recent years caused different forms of solidarity. The aim of this study is to draw attention to the discussion of alternative production systems at a time when the destructive effects of neo-liberalism are re-questioned and different forms of solidarity arise accordingly. The study carries out the search for alternative production systems through the discussion of solidarity economies. In this context, the cooperative movement, which is the most important component of solidarity economies, comes to the fore. In terms of cooperative debate in Turkey, one of the striking examples recently, S.S. Ovacık 94 Neighborhood Agricultural Development Cooperative is.
