Abstract (EN)
Golden Light (Altun Yaruk Sudur) is one of the most important Buddhist texts. A variety of studies have been done on the work which consists of ten volumes. As for this study which has three chapters, I have focused on the syntax of the work. In the first chapter, some information about Uyghurs and their literature has been given. In the second chapter, I have described some views on syntax and different syntactic classifications. In the last chapter, I have made a syntactic study on the eighteenth book of Golden Light. In the conclusion, I have reviewed what I have studied in this thesis. The main purpose of this study is to demonstrate the syntax of Old Uyghur Turkic, based on the eighth book of Golden Light.
