Abstract (EN)
Fairy tales, which are an important part of the oral narrative tradition, are one of the literary genres that have retained their importance from the past to the present day. Fairy tales, which are a reflection of the common memory and cultural elements of the people, are a complement of society in terms of transferring the concepts of good and evil, feeding the imagination, and the extraordinary things it contains. One of these extraordinary features is the magic motif. In this study, the magic motifs contained in seventy Anatolian fairy tales compiled and published have been identified and these magic motifs have been classified according to the magic motif contained in Stith Thompson's Motif Index of Folk-Literature. The study is intended to be a source of structural studies conducted in the field of fairy tales.
